Invasive Arten: Marderhund

Nyctereutes procyonoides Gray, 1834, auch Marderhund genannt, stammt ursprünglich aus dem asiatischen und russischen Raum und fand über osteuropäische Pelzproduktionsstätten den Weg nach Europa. Nach der Flucht aus der Gefangenschaft gelang es der Spezies, sich in vielen europäischen Ländern zu etablieren. Die Verbreitung des Marderhundes hängt mit den klimatischen Bedingungen zusammen, was bedeutet dass ein wärmeres Klima ihm den Weg in nördliche Gebiete ebnen würde.
